Days 3 & 4: The Golden Circle, Akureyri & Lake Mývatn
Take a full-day excursion to see some of the most striking natural phenomena of Iceland: Nesjavellir, a high-temperature geothermal area situated in the picturesque landscape of Lake Þingvallavatn, and Þingvellir National Park. On Day 4 fly to Akureyri, one of the most remarkable areas in Iceland. Spend the day exploring the area around Lake Mývatn — an explosive moonscape of mesmerizing natural lava sculptures, sulphur pits, craters and pools of boiling mud. Witness the impressive waterfall Gullfoss, Iceland’s most famous waterfall that cascades down over 100 feet into the mighty glacial River Hvíta.

Day 5: Reykjavik & the Thorsmork Valley
Enjoy an exhilarating Jeep Safari into the historic and scenic Thorsmork Valley (or Þórsmörk), surrounded by glaciers and volcanoes. Pass notorious Eyjafjallajökull volcano which erupted in 2010, and through some of the most scenic spots, including valleys, rivers, waterfalls, caves and canyons up to 350 feet deep and two miles long.
